Help! Covenant's communications; can't find quotes

For the last few days I've been stuck on the part where Linden and co. have taken refuge in Revelstone from the Demondim horde. . .
Linden is thinking about Anele and the different forms his madness takes, and she says:
Thomas Covenant had spoken to her through Anele twice, on the lush grass of the Verge of Wandering
But I can only find *one* incident, the one when Covenant's "possessing" spirit was ousted by the entity of flame who burned Linden. I've gone squirrelling backwards and forwards from the Linden group's first encounter with the Ramen to their departure in the caesure, but I can't find it. . . and neither can I find the part where Covenant says: "Remember I'm dead".
I *know* I've read it somewhere! Can any kind soul please put me out of my misery and tell me where to find these appearances of our hero?

It's from Heedless in Rain:
Thomas Covenant's love shone from him, as it had once before. Standing ankle-deep in the sodden grass, he said to her in Covenant's familiar voice - but softly, softly, so that only she would hear him - "Go now, beloved. While you can. Just be wary of me. Remember that I'm dead."
Interestingly, I noticed that the ur-vile loremaster intervenes to stop the possession. I think this could turn out very significant.
Deadtree books are far better to read but I really wish I had an electronic version so that I could do text searches. That kind of passages are hard to find in paper books unless one remembers their approximate location.

Thank you so much, Nerdanel! This has been driving me absolutely MAD for several days now
I find the ur-vilesvery interesting, and think we have a lot more to discover about them yet. Incidentally, I wonder why the ur-viles and Waynhim are referred to as "it" and "the creature" rather than "he" or "she"? Surely, as beings with such lore and a society culture, their service to the Land and especially their Weird, they deserve the dignity of more than an "it"?
Agree with you again about the books; I'd far rather read in bed than at a computer screen

But yes, some form of text search would be wonderful. Even though I knew the second incident had to take place while Linden was with the Ramen, I couldn't find it. Thanks again!

The reason ur-viles and Waynhim are called "it" is because they are neuter. They are incapable of breeding the "natural way" and have to somehow magically construct every offspring in their breeding pits in Mount Thunder.
Fun fact: Most dialects of colloquial Finnish, including mine, call everyone and everything an "it". Formal "book-language" Finnish uses a separate pronoun for people but makes no difference between "he" and "she". So if I ever have reason to talk of you offline you WILL be called an "it" regardless of whether I know your gender or not.

Of course, you are right. I hadn't thought of it as referring to the way they bred, just felt rather indignant on behalf of the poor Waynhim especially, lol. I felt they deserved more after all they had done for the Land.
And BTW, I don't mind at all if you call *me* an "it"
