Spoiler Policy?

When I first started posting here, I assumed that everyone had read the whole series. Of course, that's far from true.
It seems pretty random what gets spoilered and what doesn't, is there a specific guideline?

I would think it would be the same as the others. Spoilers are put in Realms posts, etc. I think to some degree we have to think that anyone who is going to 'wander' through topics on a book they have not read, they do so at their own risk. I would think the only thing we have to be consious of is the titles we put on postings, which could be spoilers in themselves. But the content of a post should not have to be a spoiler...

Fair enough.
I will attempt to control my tendency to go off on a tangent about Chaos and Order on TRS threads.

Given that the series ended a while ago, I have no problem with people talking about whatever they want in the books; hardly anyone puts spoiler tags in TCTC forums.

Yeah. It's a tough call. I think, in general, it's safe to assume that pretty much everyone who would be in this forum has read the series.
I would suggest to just use some thought before you post something that would be concidered a spoiler. For example, if the topic subject is something like "I just started Real Story!" or "My thoughts on Choas and Order", you might want to use spoiler tags if you talk about something from book 5, heh.
But if the subject of the topic is "I loved the ending!", you can pretty much assume that everything is fair game. If someone who hasn't read the series walked into that topic, it's their own fault, heh.
Currently, there's no forum-wide spoiler policy, with the only exception being Runes (although that will probably change soon). Maybe we need some sort of well defined policy...heh.-jay
