OK - I decided to stick to tradition :)

I have made a Watchie store - for those that won Watchies, go buy yourself one. Please don't buy one if you didn't win one :)

I made a special Watcher of the Year one though and have updated it into dlb's account :)

Congratulations, everyone - nominees and winners alike.

As tempted as I was to use my vote to break some of the ties, I refrained. If you consider the fact that there were 19 ballots submitted, there were no blowouts. Really close in a lot of categories.

Thanks, everyone, for participating.

Ballots will remain on file for a month if anyone wants a recount. ;)

And lastly, thank you to those who voted for me. It's an honor. My thanks to dlb and danlo for making the Dissection run as smoothly as it does as well as for their own outstanding dissections. To be chosen as the best from among such hard work...

And my thanks to Avatar and all the other fine moderators, and all the Watchers who support us in what we do, who make this site what it is.

Congrats Watchy Winners. Probably mostly well deserved. :D I'll bug Jay about a 2008 Watchy Item assuming it's not there already.

A special thanks to Syl, and Vs, for another successful Watchies season, we'd never manage without you. ;)

To the Watchers...c'mon guys...19 ballots and we average 100 users visiting a day? Let's treble the number of ballots next year huh? (Hahaha, sorry Syl...harder to count. :D )

Good question...there's no policy. Me, I delete mine when the new ones are announced.

*nodding*

I stopped displaying the one I got last year for The Galley post; in fact I did it a while ago. But well...

...this one's diffferent.
I'll never be eligible to be nominated for that one again...

Thanks everyone. I am truly honored that you even read my posts, let alone think anything of them.

This is an amazing community.

Nah, it was all Syl this year. :D
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

Heh. It's rather amusing (and sad?) to note that four of the winners who won by default because they were the sole nominees...were nominated by me alone. I mean, I was gone from KW for close to half a year, and I still ended up being more of a participant in this thing than most Watchers. What's up with that?
