Put this one in the dictionary, under the definition of "Sucks".

8O :x

I watched it until the end though.
I kept asking..."It can't continue to suck all the way through can it?".
It did.

It needed some O.J.!

Love 2001. Love the fact that it uses very little dialogue. Lots of images to form the narrative; Kubrick was the master of those, to be sure.

I wouldn't blame a person for being unable to understand it. Usually takes more than one viewing and commentary from outside sources. Such is Kubrick's art, though, and 2001 was perhaps his most ambiguous.

LOL!
I wasn't messing with the title.
There's really a movie called: "2001: A Space Travesty".
It's a comedy with Leslie Nielsen Neilsonwww.imdb.com/title/tt0157262/

:haha:
I'm sorry LF, I'm laughing with you... really.

HLT is right... it's a Mel Brooks film I think... a parody (?) of sci-fi films I beleive....

Ha, can't believe such a film actually exists. Then again, I felt the same way about Troll 2 and Manos: the Hands of Fate. Nothing's impossible anymore, after those two movies.

Well, I haven't seen this so-called Space Travesty yet, but I already know it sucks. God gave me the gift of incredible foresight. :D

Once you see Manos, you cant un-see it.

Edit-We thought it'd be funny to watch The Worst Movie Ever, have a few drinks, and go all MST3K on it....Uh uh. There are some films, like Alone in the Dark that are hillariously bad. Manos ain't one of them.

Plan 9 is kid stuff compared to Manos. It's like comparing powdered sugar to anthrax-laced heroin.

I believe Manos was made here in Texas. despite your warnings, I must find it...

Just read the 'plot summary' for this film at imdb.
Sounds like a Simpson's episode (and I do mean an actual one).

I guess I won't make a mistake not seeing this movie (nor "Silence of the Hams" ;) )
