I've significantly expanded my Bowie collection. Currently I have (and I love each of them for different reasons):
Aladdin Sane
Diamond Dogs
"Heroes"
Hunky Dory
Let's Dance
Lodger
Low
The Man Who Sold the World
The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
Santa Monica '72 (2008 official release)
Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)
Stage
Station to Station
I'm trying to get up to speed with his whole back catalogue; I eventually want to evaluate his *gulp* more recent work. None of his recent stuff has gotten particularly good reviews -- in fact, nothing since Scary Monsters (1980) seems to have been spectacular. It's bizarre that someone so masterful in the 1970s could have such a long drought. So I've been getting pretty intensely into his work not only because I love it, but because I've sort of made it my mission to understand this critical decline.
