i uploaded a pic of me and it went in the Elohimfest area-why??
and i uploaded a pic of my mate and it went in the member gallery section, but i did both in exactly the same way.

When you upload a pic, you first have to make sure you are in the gallery you want to upload to. Make sure you hit the "Go" button after selecting a gallery, or it will leave you in the default one. Other than that, I don't know what else the problem could be.

FYI - I just tried to view pics in the album and it doesn't work. I get a message that there is no such area.

Whereabouts do you find this error? I can go into the album, into one of the working galleries, and look at the pictures that still work. There are a lot of pictures that need to have their database entries fixed, though, because of a problem when the album db was restored. Vain has said he is working on it. The ones that aren't working comeup with a fairly clear message about something being missing in the db.

Aah, that's probably it...I can see the one's Esmer has posted recently, so I'm sure it's the database problem.

Vain, can you delete that giant pic of raymond that i put in the muttley crew album. i'm sorry, i didn't realize i'd left it so big. i'd like to put a smaller one in there.

how do you remove a pic from the album?

I think you have to ask an admin. Dunno if users can see the "delete" link for each pic. If not, PM me the link and I'll delete it for you.

The last few months I have tried a couple of times to take an image from the album and post it in a thread. [img] tags are not working in posts for album images. I did ask Vain, and he said he's pretty sure we have never been able to post images in the album in thread, but I could have sworn I've done it before.

Is there a way to do so, without having to upload an image from the album to a different hosting site first?

Not as far as I'm aware - the album doesn't use direct URLs to the images.

You used to be able to, before the phpBB was updated. But you can't under this version...haven't been able to for a couple of years now.

There are mods that you can install for an [album] BBCode. You can also add code to provide URLs compatible with [img]. For example.

I don't know anything about it, I was just googling.
