Anybody ever heard of this site? They have TONS of free videos--very informative and compelling. Illuminating series on physics, ethics, civilization, rural areas, literature, aging. I watched a 60-minute piece on Wallace Stevens, and it was amazing!

Anything you can think of; they have series geared to children and adults. A surprising amount of media, and all you have to do is register

The Mechanical Universe series is an excellent example. It has 52 episodes. Each one is roughly 30 minutes, and all you have to do to view it is register (it's free). My old biology professor praises the Mechanical Universe series right up there with Cosmos; he told me that he plans on using some of its information in future classes.
