Re-reading Ice and Fire

Post by Worm of Despite »

Sometime this year (probably summer) I'll be re-reading the first three books. I was wondering: anybody know how many chapters in all those three books are composed of? Thinking I'll probably divvy up my reading into a certain # of chapters each day. Maybe finish it all in a comfortable span of two months or something.

I'm sorely tempted to reread these, even though i just finished my first read of them.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Adding up the numbers from the chapter summary site, I get a nice round 225.
73 in A Game of Thrones
70 in A Clash of Kings
82 in A Storm of Swords (including epilogue)

I don't know about Feast.

I'm surprised I've waited so long, myself. I think I read them in early 04 or maybe early 03. Same year to me, anyway. All one blur. The books have so much packed in that the finer details easily spill out.

And thanks for the #, Murrin. I think I'll read four chapters a day through July/August. Should work out neatly. Thanks!
