It's unusual for a new cat to be immediately accepted, and jealousy probably is a factor. Even cats that don't crave a lot of attention can be jealous if they see it lavished on a newcomer.

Humans aren't the only illogical creatures.

It usually works out. Have only done introductions with indoor-only cats, so can't give much advice there.

Haha, yeah, these are the total opposite of indoor cats. I now live with my door open, so they can get in and out.

She never did sleep with us as often as the previous one did. Sometimes once or twice a week. And she always did spend most of her time out. But now it's almost all of it.

Of course, can't discount the possibility that she has adopted another family as well.

Best advice I have is if you get both of them in the same room together, share out some attention and treats to both equally. They learn pretty fast when there are perks to be had for getting along, and will work together to manipulate the thumb-havers.

The funny thing is, she was once the newcomer, upsetting the little guy we had before. *sigh* Oh well...she will or she won't.

The top part looks painted on.

We had some interesting clouds here last week the day before it rained. I thought of you, but I didn't have my camera with me.

It looks like as if some dark, winged spirit escaped into the realm of cute, happy fluffclouds. Well, some of them do need a break from all that sepulchral gothicness every now and then...

I'm both glad and relieved that someone else – even if only a semi-sane Scandiwegian – upon seeing that photo also instantly thought "NAZGUL!"
Newsflash: the word "irony" doesn't mean "a bit like iron"

Shockingly, some people have claimed that I'm egocentric... but hey, enough about them

<3 <3 I was thinking about quarter-sanity this morn, so semi-sane is an improvement!
Aye, my mind went on about Ringwraiths and Dementors, but settled for a more generic description.

Now, any clouds that look like a shirtless Honninscrave?

Just checked out the pics in your link Frosty; the first one has a pair of arms around the moon holding it to it's belly.

Cat beds; surpassing even foot-spa's as the least ever used purchased items we have.

So...if they never go outside, why do you have collars and tags on them?

Even I know that. In case they get outside. They have a tendency to run out a door, or a window etc. Besides, everyone needs a little bling.
