Personally I plan to use white gold as my wedding band if I ever get married. For some reason it now appeals to me more than normal Gold. Does anyone else feel the same?

Don't you think that is asking for it?

Actually, a number of Watchers have white-gold wedding rings.
I like it myself, but then, I prefer silver to gold anyway, so white gold is automatically more appealing than the usual sort.

If you want that look, I would go with platinum... just to be safe!

Yellow gold isn't my color at all, so I have always preferred silver and white gold. (I have worn a white gold ring for many years, completely unrelated to anything SRD.) Since silver isn't valuable enough for a wedding ring, that leaves white gold... I thought that way even as a child.

Actually yellow goes great with a blue skin tone...

I admit I like the idea of white gold since reading TC some 20 years ago now, luckily I havent been married yet, still too much to do before I settle down for that. But when I do I intend to have white gold as my wedding band. More for what it represented in the TC chronicles rather than the character.

I like silver, Julie likes gold. so my wedding band is white gold. i wear it around my neck. i have a silver anniversary on my right hand. on my left is our Catholic ceremony ring. an anniversary ring that we had made as a matching set.

White gold for me. I would have chosen it anyway, but inspired by SRD I got an almost exact replica (at least compared to the dust-jackets).

I've had a white gold wedding ring for 28 years now; I got married just before I read the first trilogy for the first time. I look quite a bit like Covenant in the Wounded Land paperback cover (at Glimmermere). I'm just waiting for MGM to call.

I wanted a white gold wedding ring, but my wife favored yellow gold. So we compromised and got two-tone rings. Boy, talk about symbolism that you could write a few tomes about!

Ironically, we chose white gold before even reading the chronicles. Kinda cool now.

I only wear silver, so when I get married it'll have to be either white gold or platinum.

I used silver, because we were rather poor; I would use white gold, but my true preference is to platinum.
I hate yellow gold, rose gold, and any gold that is not "white" in color. Hence the silver.

I'm not getting married... ever.
But yeah, I'd love a white gold ring... if only to get a chance to visit the Land.
