Voyager has just contacted me, revealing the wonderful news! The interview questions will be sent to George R. R. Martin in April, so the interview will coincide with the paperback release of A Feast for Crows.

As always, the best questions from the fans will be selected to comprise the interview. Remember that questions which would receive an automatic RAFO will not be considered.

I guess it is safe to say that we have a very interesting Q&A to look forward to!

When is ADWD coming out?

Mr. Martin, did you consciously plan the deaths of the characters you have killed off in the story, or was it more a "spur-of-the-moment" thing? Do you outline the demises as you might the plotline, or do the death scenes grow from the story itself as you write it?

Excellent questioN! But I think that it's obvious that all characters deaths are planned... Authorscan't do a series like and just kill major characters on the spur of the moment when they still have a storyline.

That's my opinion anyways, but I guess there's only one true way to find out.

How long do we have to wait to find out who Jon Snows' REAL parents are?

Mr. Martin, I am thoroughly impressed by the innovative method you have employed when crafting a chapter from the point of view of a character that surprisingly dies at its conclusion. Though I have seen this approach before the manner in which you write leads the reader to completely believe that the character in question is of great importance to the furtherance of the story and is therefore expected to prevail but shockingly does not. Is this approach deliberate on your part or is it simply the result of the natural flow of how you tell your stories?

Okay, how anbout this one: Not far from Madrid, there is a large wooden barn. The barn is completely empty except for a dead man hanging from the middle of the central rafter. The rope around his neck is ten feet long and his feet are three feet off the ground. The nearest wall is 20 feet away from the man. It is not possible to climb up the walls or along the rafters. The man hanged himself. How did he do it?

Yep that qualifies as a question though it seems more like a riddle. Perhaps they might get Mr. Martin to juggle and sing as well.
