SRD has said that The Mahdoubt is a one off character who will only appear briefly the opening pages of Fatal Revenant.Mr Donaldson also states in the interview that he often wonders why readers found that particular character and not say 'Cord Billy' or some other fringe character so facinating."I am so very sorry for leading my loyal readers on,I truly did not intend to.The fault mostly lies with them really,lots of them read too much into some of my writings,and to be brutally honest,more than a few of them are real nut jobs."

I feel offended on the behalf of those who are not nut jobs I'm a nut job, of course!

The problem with this is that isn't plausible even for a moment. Everyone who has paid attention to the Mahdoubt must have noticed that she's a figure of unusual power. (Cue a long dissertatin of why I think the Mahdoubt is a Demondim who has bespelled Linden, or something else along those lines anyway.)
