What desserts/sweet treats did you eat today? At lunch I had strawberry shortcake and a chocolate chip cookie. Once I got home, I quenched the hunger with a pull-n-peel Twizzler, berry flavor.
Also: my mom made me a whole Italian cream cake for my birthday, and I've been eating pieces of it since then. It was a huge cake, very moist and the icing--ah so good! My grandparents have been helping me eat it; we're about halfway through.

Yet again, another slice of my mom's cake. It's not stale yet, but you can tell it's getting there.

Oh well, enjoyed it while I could.
Also ate something called an "Aussie Bite" today. Rolled oat muffin with chewy fruit bits inside. Very good!

Tomorrow is the hub's birthday; I got him some pacski for breakfast, a glorious looking black forest cake, and dove ice cream bars at the store this afternoon. And I brought home a bunch of boxes of girl scout cookies last night.
I think we will all be in a state of sugar buzzedness for the next few days...

I don't do dessert much anymore, but when I do, I love a 5-scoop Friendly's Recees Peanut Butter Cup Sundae, with 3 scoops Chocolate/Peanut Butter, two scoops of Cookies 'N Cream.
About once a month I can splurge on that.

Today I'll be chowing down on some Bruster's ice cream, flavor undecided.

The flavor was a new one: called "Home Run". Vanilla ice cream, butter scotch, and chocolate-covered peanuts!!

Just had a scoop of toasted almond ice cream in a waffle cone, courtesy of Bruster's. They gave me so much I thought it was a double scoop!

Yeah, while I'm at it, I'll try some poison ivy salad.

The ice cream was vanilla, silly; it just had toasted almonds
on it.
