I may just upload some colour ones.cheval wrote:Very nice, LM.
Looks like pencil or charcoal drawings.
Any chance to see any colored pencil drawings?
I used to draw a lot way back when,
but I just can't get the shading or depth perception right.
Usually too 2-D looking.

Great drawings, Lore Not worthy!!!
I got a bunch of RPG sketches I did of the LOTR thing I did a couple of years ago - we were a bunch of girls writing a group fic, with each of us choosing to be an LOTR character, but 'feminised' version. Our names were more or less anagrams of the originals. I had all the gals send me a written description of their characters & I drew them.
This is the result...

btw, my character was "Sollaeg"...guess who dat is?
Oh, and this acrylic painting of pretty Elfboy as well...

Heh, great pics Loremaster.
When I saw the name "Fellowship of the Queens" I expected it to have men in sailor uniforms skipping around....Elfgirl wrote:img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/ElfBeyo ... owship.jpg
Thanks Lore. Although I mainly work with Photoshop now, I still like to keep a hand in with REAL paint/pencils!Loremaster wrote:Both of those artworks are excellent, Elfgirl. However, the Legolas one is superb. You are very talented.
Revan... Wasn't my title of choice (cos I envisioned the same thing!) - but it related back to previous RPGs when we all had "queendoms" and special powers ( I think I was Vice-Queen of the World, mainly because vice is nice!)

That's amazing Elfgirl! I work with an artist here selling limited edition prints of her Frodo paintings (she has a Frodo/Elijah Wood obsession). This is one of her pics...everyone this is NOT something I've drawn!!! I couldn't draw if my life depended on it!Elfgirl wrote: Oh, and this acrylic painting of pretty Elfboy as well...

Frodo constantly crying...hang on a minute...let me guess...you're a Linden Avery hater aren't you!Loremaster wrote:That's simply incredible. Even down to the tears frodo constantly had in the movie Seriously, it is amazing.
This is actually my favourite one of hers:

It's a spin-off of a Carravaggio painting.
Unfortunately the pictures have been scanned off watercolour paper hence their watery look (...not of Frodo's eyes, Lore, just of the whole thing in general! ) She does them in acrylics on canvas.
Basically I just *can't* draw...which I shall now demonstrate (I've labelled it just to help everyone out!):

I like Linden, just that in the movies I noticed Frodo cried alot. I might add I love the movies, though. The second image is cool, though I like the first one alot.
