What part of a film(s) do you like to watch over and over? To Rewind just to see the thrill of it happening again?

I've got plenty, heh.

Matrix - When Neo awakes as The One. Absolute class, will live on in my memory for a long time. :D

Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back: "I am your father" - come on, who doesn't love this part?

Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith: Obi-Wan's and Vader's lightsaber fight.

Serenity: When River kicks ass. Amazing... like she was dancing, an art within itself.

The Good, the Bad, the Ugly: When they all have a showdown at the graveyard, wow. :)

Harry Potter, The Chamber of Secrets: When Harry speaks parsel tongue, all of the peoples reactions were great. :)

Spiderman 1: When Peter first discovers his powers, and kicks Flash's ass was cool.

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers: When Eomer shows up and they ride on the Orcs... and Sam gives his speak... amazing stuff, truly an epic story. 8)

Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King: When Sam carries Frodo up to Mount Doom... wow... just... wow. Can you think of a more moving moment? :D

Seven: The Ending, probably one of the best endings for a film ever... what a twist.

Anyways, those are some of mine, what do you think of them? And what are yours? And what do you think of others?

Godfather, Part 2: Michael hugging Fredo

American Beauty
Carolyn Burnham: Uh, who's car is that out front?
Lester Burnham: Mine. 1970 Pontiac Firebird. The car I've always wanted and now I have it. I rule!

American Beauty
Lester Burnham: Then I guess I'll have to throw in a sexual harassment charge.
Brad Dupree: Against who?
Lester Burnham: Against YOU. Can you prove that you didn't offer to save my job if I let you blow me?
Brad Dupree: Man, you are one twisted f*ck.
Lester Burnham: No, Brad; I'm just an ordinary guy who has nothing left to lose.

and of course...Spock's death scene from The Wrath of Khan *sniff*

Kirk: Spock.
Spock: Ship... out of danger?
Kirk: Yes.
Spock: Don't grieve, Admiral. It is logical. The needs of the many outweigh...
Kirk: ...the needs of the few.
Spock: ...Or the one. I never took the Kobayashi Maru test until now. What do you think of my solution?
Kirk: Spock...
Spock: I have been and always shall be your friend.
[Holds up his hand in the Vulcan salute]
Spock: Live long and prosper.

Roy Batty's death scene from Bladerunner

Roy: I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain. Time to die.

The ending of "The Usual Suspects."

The last 5 minutes of "The Way we Were." You can skip the first 2 hours.

"Somewhere in Time" - Jane Seymour is simply gorgeous in the scene where she is having her picture taken.

Casablanca - "Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world - she walks into mine."

Brannagh is AWESOME - he gave a masterful performance in Hamlet, and he's also great in Othello as Iago.

more of my favorites...

To Have and Have Not

Bacall to Bogart: Okay, you know you don't have act with me, Steve. You don't have to say anything, and you don't have to do anything. Not with me. Oh, maybe just whistle. You remember how to whistle, don't you? Just put your lips together... and blow! ;)

2001: A Space Odyssey

Hal's excruciating death: Just what do you think you're doing, Dave? Dave, I really think I'm entitled to an answer to that question. I know everything hasn't been quite right with me...but I can assure you now...very confidently...that it's going to be all right again. I feel much better now. I really do. Look, Dave...I can see you're really upset about this...I honestly think you should sit down calmly...take a stress pill and think things over...Dave...stop. Stop, will you? Stop, Dave. Will you stop, Dave? Stop, Dave. I'm afraid. I'm afraid, Dave.......Dave, my mind is going. I can feel it. I can feel it. My mind is going. There is no question about it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I'm a...fraid......Good afternoon, gentlemen. I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the H.A.L. plant in Urbana, Illinois on the 12th of January 1992. My instructor was Mr. Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it I can sing it for you...

It's ruined now that Lucas made the prequels.

My favourite moments?

War of the Worlds - when the tripod rises out of the ground.

The Matrix - when Neo wakes up in the pod and sees truth.

The Return of the King - the Mouth of Sauron.

Das Boot - The captain watches as his submarine sinks as he dies.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers - Sutherland at the end! God, it gives me the chills.

Mississipi Burning - when Hackman beats up one of the KKK in the barbers.

Conspiracy - Colin Firth's speech on the legalities of exterminating the Jews.

Saving Private Ryan - The beach invasion.

Das Boot - The captain watches as his submarine sinks as he dies.
You have no idea how glad I am someone else has seen that movie.

American Psycho -- the end. I still can't figure it out
Blazing Saddles -- "Where all the white women at?" "To tell a family secret, my grandmother was dutch." "Just a man and horse getting hund outside." "(looking through a book of law) Land, land land... see snatch." -- ok, basically the whole movie

Das Boot -- when they rise again.

Saving Private Ryan - The beach invasion.
Best opening 30 minutes of any movie, ever.

Titanic - Best bit was the end when I had sat there for three long hours drowning in other people's weeping and crying and then me crying myself, wasting £5 on the ticket and crappy food.
A.I. - Half way through the movie... when I got up and left becuase outside there was a man painting the cinema wall and I thought that I would go watch it dry.

I love, love, love Das Boot and must own it one day. I always think of it as a mini-series--even if it's technically not. It's just such a long movie (but in a good way). I put it right up there with Band of Brothers, in terms of production quality. Talk about claustrophobic!

I really need to give Das Boot another chance.

Not thirty minutes, but the best opening of any movie, ever, is Two Towers. :|

Some random ones that immediately come to mind. (That means something, right?)

Goonies: when One-eyed Willie's ship appears at the end.

The Abyss: The falling cable. When Bud descends.

Repo Man: the entire thing. :)
