I watched this tonight.....it's not as bad as the critics made it out to be, and Sharon Stone looks GREAT!

I didn't think much of the first film, so this sequel meant nothing to me.

I enjoyed The Quick & The Dead when I caught it on TV couple of years ago. It was better than I expected. I agree, Stone was good in it (as was Russell Crowe). She was good in Casino, too, but I thought that movie was overwrought just a bit. That tends to happen with a Martin Scorsese picture. Or maybe I don't care for the subject matter. Gangster/mob/mafia movies just don't do much for me.

*yawn* Yet another stale sequel.

Never saw Basic #1, and always assumed Quick & the Dead was a spoof, or was it just one of those 'so horrible it made me laugh throughout the whole film' films....yeah that was it. I'm still trying to recall a good Sharon Stone flick; sorry, none come to mind.

Casino and Year of the Gun. That's pretty much it.

Total Recall was not as good as the source material. but Stone did look yummy in it.

Yummy, in that I was totally in love with her at the beginning, yet cheered when Arnie 'divorced" her near the end.

I remember ranting about why I didn't like Total Recall somewhere else. Let me just impersonate Roger Ebert:
"I
hated, HATED this movie!"
But I forgave Arnold because he then came out with Terminator 2. Oddly, Sharon Stone was not in that picture.
