For those interested in Egyptology, this is a nice site based on the TV series that screened here in OZ early this year.

www.pbs.org/empires/egypt/index.html

There is great info on the Pharoahs of this period and The Egyptian Experience is kinda cool too.

I saw, a couple of months ago, a crime reconstruction that dealt with who murdered Tutankhamen. The theory they came up with was that his chief minister did him in because he was becoming too assertive as he was growing up. (The minister was Pharaoh for a couple of years)

I seem to recall catching that program on TV a while ago Damelon. It put forward one of the many theories about Tutankhamen's death. There is also the theory that he had a brain tumor resulting in the thickening of his skull where the alleged death blow was dealt and also that he was poisoned by his wife. No one has discovered absolute proof that he was murdered although it seems highly likely that he was.

There is a good site here:

www.nationalgeographic.com/egypt/

that has tons of info about Tutankhamen - and its interactive too.

And of course if you google Tutankhamen you can find stacks more great sites. :)
