Civilization IV at KW

Who is interested in playing Civ IV multiplay sometime soon? Either we play via modem or email. I am seriously intersted, as I love the game. We could list the different nations and everyone takes one. For instance, I would love Russia.

I never really got into this game, although a multiplayer would be quite good.

My laptop screws the graphics on Civ4 up badly, so I don't think I could join in. If it was Civ3, I would, but Civ4 just doesn't work.

Erm... slightly off-topic, but since we're talking about Civ4 here... Could someone post a picture/describe the graphics menu on the options? I need to know if any of the options affects the way text is displayed on menus....

Have you patched to the latest update? I found that lots of graphical issues I had were solved by patching. (black map, leaderheads not being displayed properly)

I did, haven't tried playing a game yet to see if it's fixed in-game stuff, but the menus stayed scrambled (but looked slightly different).
btw, I saw your messages on MSN, eventually - I was playing RTW, so didn't know you were trying to contact me. I'm done playing for the day, so if you're online again and you see me there...

To revive an old topic, I have a computer now capable of running the game, and I've been feeling recently that it's too long since I did any good multiplayer gaming. Is there anyone around interested in multiplayer Civ 4, then?
(I've never been very good at Civ (never met a war I couldn't lose, and lose badly), but it's fun enough.)
