How come Linden could see Thomas' leprosy and Venom with her health sense, when the entire first chronicles always say to him, "You are closed to me".

TC was closed to the inhabitants of the Land .. but not to the chosen .. who was not of that world ..

She was a healer .. that was her gift .. she had the percipience to see ill .. clearly .. It was who she was ..

Like TC was the wild magic .. it was who he was ..

I have no text or anything to back this up, but I've always felt that Linden's health sense would have been considered extraordinary even in the first chrons.

I agree Duchess, her ability to see would have been unique at any time in the Land.(imo)
