Nice stuff....his style would fit right in with Daredevil's new run.

who is doing the writing and art? i'm not a great fan of the book in the past. too much grim & gritty. and too much Kingpin. I did like the updated Eel from a couple of years back. and the Gladiator would make a good bad guy.

Currently, the writer is Ed Brubaker, and the artist is Michael Lark. And about this Eel dude...who in the hell is that? I remember the Owl, but no Eel....perhaps I should be thankful for that.

Powers:
Battlesuit The Eel wears a costume that is coated in a unique grease that allows him to escape opponents grips.
Electricity: Later in his career the Eel was able to generate electric shocks to stun and kill.
Origins:
Leopold Stryke was an aquarium curator who decided to become a career criminal. Stryke decided to base his criminal identity on some of the fish he looked after and adopted the identity of the Eel.

"Unique grease."

I love it! Power Man and Iron Fist used to beat this guy up.

Damn...he should have been bitten by a radioactive eel; nobody's gonna believe that crappy origin!

Edward Laveli
Powers: Eel wears a special costume from which all his powers are derived...It contains generators that produce electricity on a grand scale enough to kill...He can also project bolts of electricity from his hands as a result of the costumes power...He is also very difficult to hold onto as his costume is coated with a grease like substance.
