Covenant *is* Berek.
Their similarities are obvious.
Somehow he will travel through the Caesure and replace Berek or he always was Berek.

Heh..do his fingers grow back so they can be chopped off in battle again?

I'd love to think that it's really our Covenant, but he did say to Linden, "find me" rather than "meet you at Revelstone!" He may not be an imposter, but I don't think he's going to be the Covenant we know and love, if you get what I'm saying... I agree. I did wonder about the l...

Revenent... I assume it means he's back from the dead... it means one who has come back to life... supposedly from the dead. It's got to be Covenant at the end... Also, he said "Remember I'm dead" But he also said "Find me, I can't help you unless you find me." here's another cr...

One thing that disturbed me about the Demondim is that it seems to be a bit of a grey area involving the law of death. I suppose re-animating the corpses without the original spirit might get around this, but I had thought it was only the breaking of the Law of Death that allowed the giant raver to ...

I've thought about this too - and welcome to the Watch, by the way! I posted in another thread that the KD could be mutated Sunbane, and your thoughts on the time shifts may be right-on. Thanks for the welcome. :) I was thinking not so mucn of a mutated sunbane (though that is another good thought)...

I explored some more permutations and associations with Anele's name. Some of them seemed pretty appropriate, which could well be coincidence (but knowing SRD as we do...). So to sum up the possible associations with Anele's name put forth so far (definitions from dictionary.com): Anele = Elena reve...

It's occurred to me too that Foul could well just be lying. He always lies. He only tells the truth when it's more damaging than a lie. He certainly doesn't seem to be using any of his former might. Just "whispered a word of council here and there". Maybe he has little power left except t...

Good call! Also consider than an Anole is a chameleon, and considering Anele's changeable nature, that may be apropos.

Re: Crackpot Theory for Runes (lots of spoilers)

This is my first post to Kevinswatch.com, for the record. <snip> Maybe all the important events, characters, powers and banes are being brought to a single place and time in the land. We have seen Covenant, Linden,Lord Foul, Ravers, Haruchai, Ranyhyn, Urviles, Waynhim, The Illearth Stone, The Staff...

That it might be the arch of time is inspired and surely true, but who is Jeremiah? If his mind has been bodilessly in the land all these years then where has it been and who might he really be to know of these places? <snip> Could Jeremiah have some connection with Jehannum? Jeremiah's mind was bl...

Crackpot Theory for Runes (lots of spoilers)

This is my first post to Kevinswatch.com, for the record. I have just finished "runes..." and had the thought that SRD may be playing with time a little more than is obvious. It occured to me that some of the characters may be reprises and perversions of previous characters. The first thin...
