Have you tried Magic World Online? It is pretty cool. I have played it for a while, and it is quite a bit like WoW, but it is free and it is pretty fun.

Status

I got someone who will host it for me. So, now I have to port the software to Linux. It is in windows now, but it should not be too bad. I will upload it to his server. For those who know MUDding OR want to learn, as soon as I get the MUD online, I will get your access. Right now, it has VERY little...

well, so far, I wrote the help files for the immortals. Getting ready to start building rooms. If anyone is interested in helping design, let me know. I will put it on the web soon if I have help. If I do not have any help, there is no need to put it online at this particular juncture. If you are in...

Well, it is a text based game that is multi-player. The term MUD pre-dates the term "multi-player". Multi-User was the name used in the late 80's

The topic is Wii Fit. My family has the Wii Fit. I understand the complaint about everything being based on balance. I typically agree, but the push up excersizes are great and the strength ones are pretty good. It is not about bulking up muscles, it is about toning muscles and getting into aerobic ...

I am starting to work on a Land based MUD now. I will keep anyone interested informed of what is happening, hopefully on a weekly basis. I will post the progress in the Video Games section (even though there is no video to the game).

I am going to try to work on creating a Land MUD of my own. I would like to hear from those who are interested in playing it. I cannot give a timeframe for anything, but I can definitely give status updates if people are interested in playing.

SDR's website

I emailed him a question about the Elohim on his website and he replied via email back to me to come here and read.

It was a great suggestion.

A MUD is a multi-user dungeon. There used to be a MUD based on The Land. It was based in Norway, I think. The URL ended with a .no in any case. Anyway, for those who MUD, it was unique in that it was entirely based on the Land, and you could injure body parts, not just take 'damage'. Does anyone kno...

The Atlas of the Land

I just recieved my copy of the Atlas of the Land by Karen Wynn Fonstad. It is fabulous. I will definately have it handy the next time I start the Chronicles again. I have read the series about every 18 or so months for about 12 years. This book is an awesome companion. If you do not own it, get it. ...
