I feel the same as OP, the map does not matter much to me. I feel this way pretty much the same in regards to all fiction. I mean, I look at it, but it can get really confusing and stuff, it doesn't always tend to matter anyway. The only time I've had any major care for maps in a book are the choose...

Linden Avery, I've never quite liked her... she's so... bland or something like that. Just thought she was a bit of a bane to the series, like she was thrown in for the second one and now seems to be dominating things. It's the chronicles of THOMAS COVENANT, and she has more airtime :p

Yes!!! I felt so alone! Vain is definately my most favourite character. Prior to that, probably either Covenant or the Despiser.

Swords are easier to use, but I think in the end the staff is probably a superior weapon, which is why they use it.
