The war within was published in paperback here in the UK yesterday. I've now bought a copy in hardback and paperback and on kindle. Obviously I love the story and am looking forward to the concluding volume. Very sad to hear about the decline in sales. Mr Donaldson deserves better imvho.

Here's another question. Do people think that Estie and Bifalt will fulfil one another? That's the politest way I could think of phrasing that question! FWIW I think yes they will.

I finished the book last week and loved every minute of it. I also have no idea what is going to happen in the next book especially with Estie. She's come to be one of my favourite Donaldson characters for a long time.

Picked up a copy from waterstones just now so I have it! Annoyingly I am half way through my re read of seventh decimate so I can't start until tomorrow lol

Thanks for your thoughts. I'd be very interested to know what you think after another 200 pages as this sounds very much to me like the beginning of the gap cycle before everything ramped up in ADAHGA. Is that fair?
