Dear SDR, Thanks so much for the best epic fantasy books I have ever read- ever, period. May you see and be be blessed by the faith that was your parents; salvation by the one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit through the Son, Jesus Christ. Keep writing! God Bless! Barry Sanzone

Yes, but pretty soon into reading you realize that's not the case.

I do agree with Dawngreeter (great name) that the story seemed too consticted for most of the time that they were on the ship(I had forgotten about that), but I think that was intentional - to purposely build tension. That's why the story seemed so consticted while on they where on the boat, but tha...

Relayer and then Fist and Faith made a very good point- I did just step in line of thinking about them like the long deprived bloodgaurd(mabey SDR did too- I know, that's blasphemy) but I think the merewives must have been intentionally targeting the haurachi . Oh they went after all ships passing b...

My mistake too, I guess. I thought, is the law restored now or what? With the formation of the new staff.

Abridged means condensed or shortened to save space/time. So yes it's not the complete book. Who is reading on the tape/cd?

He broke(snapped ) the rope- thus showing his true feelings for all weapons and all those who needed weapons.

I think Baradakas has nailed it and answered Fletch's and Guest's misgivings. I had forgotten that the urviles that Vain fought were sunbane warped.

I don't think Foul feeds, sustains or replenishes/restores himself with Earthpower at all. It would be like poison to him- he's corrupt and Earthpower is good and pure. I just think it's the nature of his(relative) immortality that (automatically) restores him.

I know A few people who had no idea about Vain but I don't no how- as soon as he put the bands on I knew he was going to be the staff of law- I even thoght there was a good chance that that was one of the possibilites before that happened.

I think Matrixman hit the nail on the head. I agree with all his perceptions of The One Tree- especially Brathairealm - that's just how I perceived it. While I love the First Chronicles( TPTP being the best book of all time!), TOT is my favorite of the Second Chronicles and mabey as much as TIW! :P

I would put The Chonicles at the top of the list- yes # 1! 8O Tolkien's books and world were more intricate/weighty/massive/developed true but The Chronicles(especially the First) were the most intense I've ever read :-x :!!!:

I think Mhoram's Revenge may be right- although it is overly harsh I do believe that it is being asserted that Eleana was flawed and Elena's tragedy was (at worst) predetermined by Covenant's crime or (at least) the seed of what happened was planted by his crime.
