but one thing we do know...he was able to block the attempts at the Arch of time by Lord Foul after he had given the ring freely to Lord Foul...to me that means TC was the tool ..not the ring, Had TC said...I give myself to you freely the whole thing may have been different,... Hell, if Foul had go...

That's easy, he'd choose to save them both.ninjaboy wrote:IT just seems to me that Foul is going to try make Covenant try choose between Joan and Linden.. And we know Ravers can voluntarily leave their hosts (remeber Triock) and I was wondering who you would think TC'd choose if he had to make the choice?

I always assumed that the rituals that fed the Sunbane/performed Earthpower-esque effects worked by giving some power, in the form of blood, to the Sunbane. The Sunbane then took that power into itself and the Graveler/Eh-Brand was able to utilize part of that power. I need an example: Let's say tha...

Was Trell in danger of breaking the Arch? I know he was risking another RoD and the destruction of Revelstone. I'm away from my books, should've brought them to college with me... Anyway, it seems like if someone prophesied/foresaw the arrival of a Martian as a harbinger of a great struggle for the ...

Never tried a boilermaker, but it sounds wicked. I have, however, downed some B-52's without knowing what the heck they were. I found out later when I couldn't stand up. :) Hey, that's a good idea for a new thread, somebody. Names of drinks you can make with springwine, diamondraught, vitrim, and p...

I don't know about the rest of the post, but I seem to recall Joan getting disintegrated by a bolt of lightning in the Real World, so if there's a candidate for most obviously dead, I think it would be her.[/quote]ninjaboy wrote: And judging by the book Jeremiah's dead in the real world.. Regarding the end of WGW, Foul's first blast of Wild Magic was directed at and killed Covenant. After the initial blast he lets loose on the Arch, but Covenant as Timewarden is able to absorb/deflect/whatever those blasts, something a living/envenomed Covenant would have been unable to do. Covenant ...

No, you're right on both counts and they're both still standing. The castle in the entryway feels like Lost Deep, but the race tracks in his room (with all their loops and curves and the Mobius loop aspect) seem like a reference to the Arch of Time maybe? I dunno, but that's what I suspect. It may ...

Re: Runes, Prologue, Ch. 5: The Cost of Love and Despair
Well, this is my first post here, so please don't judge me too harshly... I only have a few things to add. Firstly, Syl, you're dissection was excellent, and without my book at hand I can't be sure, but I think you missed one detail that I found important... Roger...offers to trade Jeremiah for Lind...
