It was a very good film. Struck just the right notes. I have heard others argue that Mr. Eastwood has a bit of a Jesus complex in this movie... but I just don't care - the movie is good enough that he gets a pass from me on that.

Brother Charn frowns deeper and deeper as the list is read. "This be a formidable list of ingredients. With enough coin, there be a small chance we could buy several of these... but the last ingredient," Charn signs and rubs his holy symbol. "I doubt the beast that bit you will give u...

Brother Charn quickly moves to follow the Archivist, speaking to Irian as he does so, "It appears the spell to remove the plague be arcane magick, not divine. To prepare the Ritua, we likely must purchase or quest to gather ingredients most rare... should the fates allow that all be found at al...

"Thanks be to you for making the attempt. If there be any way to impart urgency in the matter..." Charn <very unrehearsedly> places 3 silver pieces on the desk, "We be most grateful. We have witnessed dire consequences from an unaddressed tiger-bite. It be a matter of safety." BC

Charn peels his eyes away from the tapestries to gaze at the reception clerk. "Blessings of Pelor upon you this day. We be here to inquire about a matter of... mild urgency concerning the nature of tiger bites - erm - such as the bites of full-moon shapechanging tigers? We be here at the referr...

It's tempting to say that it's Kevin's fault for only putting six in the first Ward. But I don't think it's that simple. I think they needed lots of lore to decipher the Wards, and that the Lords were not skilled enough to find all seven within them. This explanation makes the most sense to me - th...

Charn thanks the guards with another quick blessing, and starts off in the direction of the Guild of Physicians & Apothecaries. Though he maintains a mostly dignified manner, Charn is clearly impressed and cannot help but gawk a little at the magnitude of Scragnoth. [ooc] Unless anyone stops him...

"Ah, no, good sir. Though I practice the healing arts, I be dedicated to Holy Pelor. We do wish to consult with the Guild however... my pardon, but this be my first visit to Scragnoth. The Main street, you say?" He points, "This be the Main street?"

Sorry gang. I am now back from vacation - and I have leveled Charn via email to Nathan.

FWIW - I should now be available for play at my previous-to-Christmas-holiday levels.

It is unfortunate that you are having recurring knee troubles, MsMary - I've never had any, but a good friend of mine has suffered from one knee issue or another all his life, so I know how debilitating and demoralizing it can be. All I can say is, make sure your orthopedist is top-notch, ask lots o...

The shirt is too big for me now that I have lost so much weight. I only wore it about three times. You want the shirt, DW? I would be happy to mail it to you. It's a men's large from Hot Topic. I would say I would be your coffee table but I'm too hyper to stay in one place that long.... I...

At home, I use the latest IE on Vista Home Premium - because I have a broad masochistic streak. Honestly, it isn't that bad - but I do have full protection suite, blockers turned to max, ports disabled, scan frequently -- and I am kept well-versed and current on security issues by my sweet wife's in...

Yah - that pretty much sums up The Happening. You did leave out the part where Leguizamo offs himself, but you can see it coming from far away - kind of like if the earth decided one day to crash into the sun, except without any of the anticipation.

I wear a drab gray fleece-y scarf, no frills - because I need the warmth - it has 0 to do with fashion. It is all about conserving my now precious body heat. In my growing old age, and my new svelterishnicity, I have apparently lost the ability to maintain my body temperature in the winter months. I...

Yeah, November/December is meant to be a wash - even a little gain is fine. Don't worry about that so much. It will disappear quickly in the new year. Myself, I believe I have plateaued - I think my body has finally become accustomed to the workout regimen - the upside is that I can now fast-jog 15 ...

It was a pleasure being the Voice of the Choir. Fun, mysterious, and a way to try out different definitions of what passes for poetry.

Thanks for the opportunity - I'm sad to see the game end. It was fun watching.
