Has anyone purchased this? I'm really interested in this, but would love some feedback before I pull the trigger and get it. My wife and I just got back from a long road trip and really enjoyed the 2 audiobooks we listened to and plan on having an audiobook night once a week where we just relax list...

- Whatever the method, I see Thomas Covenant and Foul's fates being intertwined for all time and Linden and her son being the instrument of this happening. At the request of Thomas Covenant, Linden and her son use the Wild Magic and the Staff of Law to help turn Thomas Covenant into an eternal priso...

- The death of the Giants of Seareach by the Giant-Raver - Lena's demise. - Saltheart Foamfollower between the death of the Giants of Seareach and his final Caamora. - The Bloodguard after the end of their Vow. Those really pained me when reading the 1st Chronicles. At least the wrongness of what ha...

As we all know, the intent of the Oath of Peace was intended to prevent despair. What it really did was removed a degree of passion from the people of the land IMHO. Limiting passion prevents crimes of passion, but it also removes all the great things that extreme passion can provide. Most of us all...

Without revealing too much, Foul doesn't own Covenant's soul in the way you are describing. Rather, by trading his life for Joan's, Covenant has in essence lost the "necessity of freedom" and is now Foul's tool. So, in that sense, Foul own's Covenant's soul. The answer above is IMHO the t...

Isn't it nice to have all these people who truly understand the crisis involved here? Amen! My wife didn't seem to grasp the gravity of the situation. lol I'm just going to have her mail it to me and I think I'll use a suggestion from above and hit up the library before it closes this afternoon. Th...

Ugh

I started reading the 1st Chronicles again, for probably my 8th time or so, on Saturday and I was just as hooked after 200 pages as I was the first time I read the story. My wife and I were visiting her parents in TN and after our 14 hour drive back through nasty traffic I just realized I left the b...

I've read the 1st trilogy probably 10 times and the 2nd one probably 7-8 times, but it still holds my interest enough that it's tough to peel myself away once I pick them up. Since it's been about 2 years I may have to crack them open and read the first 6 books over the holiday season.

All the problems with a movie being made would disappear if the right person really wanted to see it come to life. If any of the Dreamworks trio, or anyone of similar financial influence in Hollywood, was a diehard fan it would get the greenlight IMHO I wouldn't want to see it made anyway unless it ...

Hello

Helllo everyone. I'm 36 and first ready the 1st Chronicles back when I was in 6th or 7th grade, if my memory serves me correctly. Since then I have probably reread the 1st and 2nd Chronicles about every 2 years since. I'm an avid reader, but aside from SRD books I really don't read much fiction; wit...
