I liked the Eddings books in the Belgariad and the Malloreaon, but not the other series'. I find them "lighter" than Covenant, but I really like some aspects of what he has done, and I really like some of the characters. I like the humor. I also loved the Shannara series.

Im not sure if this has been mentioned, there is so much to read on here, but I wonder if the Words of Power being used in the Dungeons and Dragons movie from a few years ago was with permission? I assume they are under copyright. Would SRD have to gain permission to use his own words in a Thomas Co...

I'm not sure about the silliness of the name, perhaps it has a meaning that will be explained later. I think he will have more to do with the story, dead or no. The dead are showing up all the time.
