No matter how many times I read that section, I'm reduced to tears. That chapter to me is unparalleled in terms of emotional impact, and goes to show the brilliance of Mr. Donaldson.

The One Tree to me is a ponderous read, and the 1 book in the series I have to force myself to read. It really adds very little if anything to the Chronicles, and could have been left out entirely.

Ok, that sounds much better. Unfortunately, I cannot afford those exorbitant prices. I get my audiobooks through Audible normally. Very disappointing, but I'll pass the information along to my brother. I can't see him spending $35 a book, but who knows. Thanks for the info.
