You don't get to the grungy parts of Coruscant until you've gone hundreds of stories down, though I don't remember exactly how many, and then beyond that you get to the undercity where the criminals rule. And then below that are places that are forgotten where nightmarish creatures dwell. In AotC th...

Don't know and don't care. I'm a Saga fan through and through. It is a perfect blending of my two favorite genres and I never tire of it. Glad more are being made and I can't wait for the 21st which is when I'm going to see it. GL, JJ, ring theory, Disney - none of it matters. Star Wars is bigger th...

Just finished re-reading Saga of the Pliocene Exile by Julian May. Now I'm thinking about re-reading The Eternity Brigade by Stephen Goldin. The Saga of the Pliocene Exile is an excellent series! Indeed it is. Have you ever read The Eternity Brigade? If not I highly recommend it unless you dislike ...

I sleep 3-4 hours a night and once or twice a month I'll get a night were I reach 6 hours. Back in my 20's I went 3 years sleeping only a couple times a week so I'm okay with the amount of sleep I get now. It can always be worse.

I'm not sure anyone alive, except for maybe those being born as I type this, will ever see an age of unlimited energy. And even then those being born this very minute might only see the beginnings of such an age. Or maybe I don't know what I'm talking about which is a very real possibility.

I don't really want any more sequels. I would like a book or trilogy about Giants, though. Love the Giants.

I was 15-16 years old when I first read the Chronicles, and I instantly fell in love with them with the first chapter of Lord Foul's Bane. During this time I also tried to read LOTR and never finished them. Tried again a few years later and completed them but still didn't care for them. I respect To...

I don't think it could be done well. There's too much internal conflict going on. Any film adaptation would be a pale imitation in my opinion. As others have already said the Gape Cycle would make a great tv/film series, though.

Hello. I go by Rabs on the few forums that I sometimes visit. I'm a long time fan of Thomas Covenant and the Gap Cycle. I don't use a computer much and just found this place so decided to register because I don't know too many fellow Donaldson fans in my every day life. That's about it.
