Not sure i should call myself an atheist.. more of an agnostic (spelling?)...

I assume when I die that is it, no more me in any way. I don’t think of it much and I am nor scared about it, they way I think about it is to fall asleep and not dream and not wakeup.

I have read a bunch of the Anita Blake books and must admit I find the first 4 or so a joy to read, mostly because of Anitas very hard pragmatic attitude to violence, she is not really violent person (at 1st anyway) but when push comes to shove she don’t hold back. Also, Anitas dry humour and cool c...

A bit of topic but I can’t help it.... Most likely, unless the math class gives me hell. If it were up to me, I'd skip all the "required" classes and just jump right to my major. Honestly . . . But oh well. from a thread about bookburning "People who burn books must be insane. I think...

It has now been 16 years since I read catcher in the rye (omg I am getting OLD) but I remember it as good and what stays with me is the fact that the teller of the story is obviously a thug, a bad boy but he don’t think about himself like that. He always think he has a just cause for what he is doin...

Reading the 1st post I want to summarise it as “why is most SF stories junk? Why aren’t there more SF stories about things that really matter?” I actually think most books are junk, you have your formula love books, formula detective stories, most drama books tell a good story but leave nothing when...
