ISome centuries past, the Vizard sought to thwart the Harrow's desires, for he deemed them contrary to his own purpose. Thus was the Vizard lost to use and name and life. The outcome of what the Mahdoubt has done will not be othewise. That could just about be interpreted that the Vizard fell into m...

Re: eye twitching

I personally think we're going to get some Jeremiah POV in the next 2 books, showing him fighting against the croyel somehow. No-one's really yet considered the possibility that Jeremiah is quite happy with his relationship with the Croyel. It has to be said that Croyel/Jeremiah acted just like a t...

That's brilliant. How could I have missed it? Excellent review.

It's possible that TC did, and he's just obeying his own command. In regards to Andelain I'm wondering how the Wraiths became powerful enough to protect the place. In the 1st Chronicles they were helpless before the Ur-Viles, and in the 2nd Chronicles they had no power either (that we knew of). Her...

of course, maybe that use of "mom" was meant to be awkward b/c he's being controlled by the croyel :!!!: One thing that's been overlooked is that we've never seen a Croyel actually control someone before. Kasreyn retained his own mind. The Ice creature we're not sure how it came about and...

And while the Ill-Earth Stone was not destroyed until seven years after the breaking of the Law of Death wouldn't Lord Foul have noticed someone tapping into the Stone in his thronehall with a caesure? It can really only be that they are tapping into it at a point where the Demondin possessed it - ...

My one correct guess

I did predict over two years ago that Jeremiah was

a croyel
but not quite in the way he turned out to be - although the jury is still out on the detail.

Just about everything else I got wrong except for the predictable ability of Linden to make things worse at almost every turn.

Correction- we are told that Ceasures cant go back further than the breaking of the law of death/life. thats around 3500-7000 years. Do we know that there werent any Demondim in the time of Mhorim? They had the Illearth Stone. That would date them before the First Chronicles at least - though I thi...

I came away confused by much of the plot in relation to time travel and the arch. We're sometimes told that Kastenessen wants to destroy the arch to find oblivion, then at other times he fears what Linden might do if she unleashes her power. We're told Linden cannot threaten the arch and that she ca...

I hear you, Native. However, the reason that this forum is hidden is to avoid a lot of these issues. Yeah fair enough if people don't want to. I just think of the spoiler tags almost like punctuation marks. It somehow makes me cringe when they aren't there. I know that sounds completely ridiculous ...

I've seen nothing to make me believe that time really has any meaning to them. For all we know, they exist in all time simultaneously No the other one, whose name escapes me for the moment, couldn't travel in time at all. That was a key plot point. And only the Mahdoubt was seen to actually time tr...

I thought the whole point of having a super secret FR forum was so we didn't have to worry about spoiler tags. Anyway… Yes, it is. Your thread title is aptly titled. I see no need for spoiler tags here. I think some people want to just be a bit spoilered, if that makes sense. :D And they don't real...

Re: Some Questions for Discussion (SPOILER WARNING)

Some good questions which may or may not have explanations. I can answer the second easily though. Can I suggest the use of spoilers in your post btw.
Spoiler
The Theomach was killed during the second chronicles and we have no evidence so far he can physically travel in time

I think we will find that the Creator appeared to Jeremiah - and in fact is responsible for his powers. I would suggest that Jeremiah's lack of conscious volition is why the Creator could impact him without tearing apart the arch of time. His powers do seem to be immune to the laws that bind everyo...
