My dad joined the Watch!

...and it's about time! We've been talking about this place and he finally decided to register. He's Howard Roark, which fits since he's an architect. I don't know how much posting he'll actually do, but hey.

Thanks for the welcome

I read the books that spawned this website back in my twenties. I gave the first one to my daughter to read as a christmas present a couple of years ago. It took her a couple of months for her to pick it up, after she mocked the title and genre a little bit. but I think the descriptions of an irresistably perfect world (potentially) hooked her. I'm pretty happy that it's taken her this far, to this community. I'll try to keep future postings less serious. Thanks again for the welcome.

Interesting. Welcome aboard!

And Howard, if you need a good avatar, I could send you my Howard the Duck one. It's awesome!

Hello, Howard.

My daughter (ProRider514) is also a member. Our roles are reversed. I'm the addicted Donaldson fan. (I first read the Chronicles in high school back in '79) and she is only moderately interested teenager.
I have heard you and Leper Fairy are Simpsons fans. My daughter and I are as well. :D

Welcome to the Watch!

See you around.
