I wrote a poem (an acrostic) that I sent to Stephen Donaldson after he graciously sent me some autographed stickers. I was hoping that he might use it in his 3rd Chronicles. Thought you might be interested in reading it. (Written and sent in 1984)

"Do you have a wife?"
"At one time."
"What happened to her?"
"She has been dead."
"How long ago did she die?"
"Two thousand years."
"At one time."
"What happened to her?"
"She has been dead."
"How long ago did she die?"
"Two thousand years."

Response by SRD
No, SRD didn't respond to the poem. I figured that he'd rather do his own and not bother with someone else's work (legal entanglements and all--although I did tell him that if he liked it, he could use it free of any charge). Thanks for the compliments. I always kinda liked it but didn't know if it was worth showing anyone.

Poem
True, I agree with Coerci, nicely done! I think that SRD should accept yor poem no matter what entanglements there are. Although he might not use it because there might not be a 3rd Chronicle who knows? Anyway, it's time for me to go to school

Acceptance
Thanks, xp_spec. I appreciate the compliment and thought. I don't do a lot of poetry much anymore (though I have some haiku on seals, whales, other animals of nature).
