X-Men Apocalypse is not a bad film, but it suffers from some unnecessary padding around the middle, mostly for reasons of fanservice. I mostly enjoyed it, and I wrote about the issues it had here:

I really loved this, and think it may be the best Xmen since the reboot.

How fast is Quicksilver? I never had the impression from the comics he was that fast, but he would have to approach light speed to save all of those mutants from the explosion.
Another thing - with all of the Rush references, "Tom Sawyer" would have been a better choice for that sequence, instead of "Sweet Dreams (are made of this.)"
