Are We Losing Interest?

Post by Cheval »

What's going on here???
I had been away for three days...
and there were NO NEW POSTS!
Maybe I am out of loop, or maybe we've gotten so caught up
in the offical SRD website :Hail: ,
that we are getting lax here on Kevin's Watch.
PLEASE SAY THAT IT ISN'T SO!

I know that I don't post much replies, but it is fun to see what others
have to say about the topics here.
(Vain, Bird&Bear, MatrixMan, FurlsFire, Duchess, Dandelion, and too many others to list)
I do post replies when I have something to actually say in response,
not just to jibber-jabber and try to build up my WGD.

O.K.... Maybe this was just a little "glitch" and I missed something.
I clicked to view posts since last visit, and nothing came up!
And all the indicators on the left side (Kinda look like post-ems) were all white,
telling me that there were no new posts.
(When they turn yellow, they get my attention.)

Also, the last few times I went to "WWW.KEVINSWATCH.COM",
(It's in my "favorites" list ) an error message pops up
and gives me search results for colleges in Maryland.
(This I may blame on AOL) This gets to be irritating, since I have to keep
trying (several times) until Kevin's Watch does actually come up.
I go to the official SRD website :Hail: and it will pop right up-no problem.
I hope this is not the way to enter Kevin's Watch,
though there is nothing wrong with doing it that way.
It's just time consuming.

I've said my piece, I've settled down, and hope I didn't look like a total idiot.
You folks and this site are the best!

*slaps self upside head*
Right after I posted this, I seen that there were three new posts.

Maybe it was some kind of glitch.
(Maybe a conspiracy... any "Fouls" out there tonight?)

I think it is probably a glitch. Though, now that I think about it, my AOL has been acting funny the last day or so... :? :(

Cheval, I generally post something every day but there have been a few sundays where I may have been to busy. 8O I think the Watch might be cooling off for some posters but for the most part I think things are going okay.

By the way dANdeLION, Lord Absinth, ProRider514 and I are all from Tampa too. We've been kicking around a Florida Elohimfest. FYI. :D

It's beenpretty quiet, but that's no big deal. You only joined recently, I joined relatively recently, but when I joined this place was ALOT quieter than it is now... My fist coupl of topics took 24 hours to get about 3 replies...

(And they were good topics)

Well, I don't know about the rest of those schmucks, ;) but I try not to post unless I have *ahem* (booming voice) SOMETHING OF CONSEQUENCE to say..... ;) ;)

Nah....really, I haven't been around much lately.....I spent a solid week working 14 hour days on costumes for Lear....followed directly by spring break....ergh....but now I think we're back to normal, whatever that is....

Where's the fire? I don't get the sense folks are losing interest, cheval. Maybe you just caught a lull period at the Watch. It happens. Methinks you can call off the judicial inquiry.

I know that I am still a "newbie" to The Watch,
but I guess was caught off-guard by the lull in activity.
(My first time, so please be gentle.)
Sorry to have over-reacted to my stunned response
to actually witness such rare(?) occasion. 8O

Darth, and those whom felt left out of the mentions...
that's were "...and too many others to list." comes in. 8)

An Elohimfest on this side of the States? Interesting....

Lulls happen from time to time, especially around major holidays..lately, it has been spring break season so people tend to be busy with their families or on vacations. You might see a BIG lull in June when a lot of people are in Albuquerque without internet access...

Gahhhh! The elohimfest that I probably can't go to! Too bad there's not more of us in Montana. Perhaps me and my dad can have an elohimfest of our own

Yes, we could be missing a lot of Watch regulars come June. Just thinking about not being able to attend Elohimfest depresses me, so I tend to avoid the subject.

Why so, feckless fiend?! Drinks are on you, mister, mine's a double whisky and coke!
The reality is in this head. Mine. I'm the projector at the planetarium, all the closed little universe visible in the circle of that stage is coming out of my mouth, eyes, and sometimes other orifices also.
