Great stuff! The biggest Godzilla ever, and crazy powerful. One aspect of his powers was, imo, a bit silly, and unnecessary anyway. But even before that was revealed, it was jaw-dropping what he could do.
As always, too much non-Godzilla time in the movie. I hadn't gotten enough sleep the night before, and had my eyes closed for a couple stretches. And it was in Japanese with English subtitles that came and went faster than any other subtitled movie I've ever seen, so I couldn't even hear the dialog. But what does that matter in a Godzilla movie anyway?
Lots more screen time for the star than the 2014 movie, and that's what's important.
