news??
just wondering- is there any official news on the 3rd & final chronicals? i've read a few second hand reports but i wonder how far he really is on this very exciting project. one would think that if he were writing them (especially after SO long between books), there would be more info about it. i would hate to get too excited and find out that it was never to be.

Dear [Syl],
The rumor is true: Stephen Donaldson is writing a new Covenant novel, but
he's only about halfway through, won't venture a guess as to when he'll be
done, and hasn't sold it to a publisher yet, so I can't give you any
information on when it will be out. We'll be doing our best to buy it, of
course - wish us luck!
Best wishes,

I have heard rumors but have seen no official statement concerning Mr.
Donaldson's Third (or last) Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. Has a
publishing date been set, nebulous or otherwise? Any information would
be greatly appreciated.
Thanks In Advance,

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

at www.randomhouse.com/delrey under "Author Sites" there are a lot of links to fan sites, but none for SRD. methinks that should be remedied.
