Fortunately,.... Unfortunately

Post by deer of the dawn »

A classic forum game that deserves a place in Mallory's.

Add a sentence that begins "Fortunately" or "Unfortunately", alternating with the sentence that went before you.

Ginger swung her arms as she hiked through the fair meadow at dawn, all four suns and two moons in conjunction as they peeked over the distant mountains, the taste of his lips still on her tongue.

Unfortunately, she had forgotten his name-- and her sidearm.

Fortunately, she could run a DNA test on the blood stain on her brassiere.

Unfortunately, she had no such DNA testing equipment on her person.

Fortunately, she knew the blood was hers, so DNA testing equipment was unnecessary.

Unfortunately in a strange twist all of the members of the forensics team quit their jobs on the same day

Unfortunately I wasn't paying close enough attention to the pattern and created a rupture in the flow of this thread for which I am deeply something.

Fortunately, the plot attacked her, and she remembered she was tonguing some guy in that field.

Unfortunately, this thread having taken a decidedly icky turn, our heroine decided to suit up and do something about it herself.
