Dead Men Tell No Tales
Reviews of the latest installment of Pirates of the Caribbean might steer you away from seeing this. There's lots to criticize. But I saw it, and I thought it was pretty fun nonetheless. There's a bit about the origin of Captain Jack which was well done. Barbosa has quite his day. And the ending was quite thought-feeding. So don't be afraid of Pirates.

Saw Pirates 5 and honestly I liked it better than P4. In fact when viewing the entire series P4 now seems like a square peg. My wife and I both remarked that you could watch 1,2,3 & 5 and not feel at all like anything was missing.
P5 isn't my favorite but I enjoyed the film and on the whole it holds up well with all but the first one.
IMHO of course.

Hate to say it, but other than the bank robbery, I didn't see where Jack added anything to the movie. Rest of the cast and story were fun to watch.
