No contest. Crisp, clear and cold. Check all of my posts about the weather to understand why. :-)

Physical tasks or mentally draining tasks?

Probably mentally draining, but sometimes physical tasks. I do love playing soccer, but it tends to break me a bit. Too much mental draining isn't good either. I don't know, maybe physical after all... It's a tie, I don't have a preference - is that allowed in this game? :D

Diet Mountain Dew. They're probably equally bad in terms of flavor and the effect they'd have on my teeth, but at least the soda has caffeine.

One trip in a time machine: Dinosaurs, or human history?

Human History. At least there's a chance I might come back without being eaten by giant monsters. I guess.

Do you reckon you would rather be powerful hungry or powerful stupid?

I reckon I would rather be powerful hungry, 'cause I could use all my smarts to find something to eat.

Work an average 5-day week, or a super-stressful 4-day week?

I could do without the stress. I get enough as it is.
Sliders or Quantum Leap?

I liked them both but I think I enjoyed Sliders more.

Jar Jar Binks or Star Trek V camp fire sing along?

I think they should do a reboot where Jar Jar Binks joins the sing along, then gets blasted into the stratosphere on levitation boots. You know you'd watch it.

Ewoks or Tribbles?

DAMN RIGHT!!!! :-)
Ewoks or Tribbles?
Tribbles are the most inoffensive of creatures. The trilling sound they make has an almost...hypnotic effect...which...I of course...am...immune to...

And of course Ewoks SUCK!!!!

Which would you think the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant would have benefited more from, the inclusion of Dragons or a 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 with a stack of chemistry books in the trunk?

I'm going to go with the 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 with a stack of chemistry books in the trunk, mainly for the weirdness potential.

First contact with alien life: Smarter and more advanced (but potentially threatening), or harmless but relatively uninteresting?

I will go with smarter and more advanced. Pehaps they would give us a leg up with understanding in general.

Lunch with Elon Musk or Nathan Fillion?

Wow, that's not an easy choice. I'm going to go with Elon Musk, because I could probably come up with more conversation, whereas with Nathan Fillion I'd probably be reduced to the sort of fangirl chat about Firefly that he's heard a million times.

Which is the better bad superhero name Liquid Kid or Battle Bat?

I will admit that I am not familiar with either, but with Battle Bat, I picture a bat wearing a cape and perhaps a suit of armor, and it's kinda cute. Liquid Kid just sounds like a threat to the upholstery and whatnot.

I guess I'll have to go with Greek as I am far more familiar with it (though I always preferred the Roman version)

You've been walking in the desert for an entire day with no provisions of any kind and there isn't any civilization for at least 10 miles in all directions. You stumble across two packages. One contains half a cup of stinky water. The other contains 250 million dollars. Both packages are balanced on a plank of wood that is perched upon a pointy rock, jutting out over a deep chasm. If one package is removed, the other will instantly plunge into the crevasse.

You are only able to pick up one package. Which one would you choose?

Well, what the hell was I doing in the desert with no provisions?
And I'd probably keep walking because making either decision seems like it would send me to my death.
Now, to stop being a jerk and expect I can only have one, then I'd go with the water, because money doesn't do you much good if you are dead. Although if the stinky water gave you diarrhea, you'd pretty much be dead that way too. But at least you'd have a chance.

SEriously, the options?? Tickle torture. I wouldn't want swimming to be ruined for life for me, and I don't get tickled much now that my kids are grown.

I read a story years ago wherein a handsome young nobleman marries a beautiful young maiden. In bed that night, she turns into a horrid old hag, but she tells him he has a choice: that she can either be beautiful and unfaithful, or a faithful hag. He thinks about it and tells her she should decide. (As a reward, she tells him she will be both faithful and beautiful.)

You have the same choice only it's about yourself: You can be a young hottie but untrue, or a withered old thing with a heart of gold. Which will you choose?

I've given this too much thought, and I find myself questioning the motives of the lady in the original story. If she has the power to be both, why is she offering him a choice? What if he'd given the answer he thought she wanted to hear - 'Sure, honey, I'd totally love you forever if you turned into a hag.' - would she be bound to it even if it wasn't what either of them really wanted? If he turned out to be a total jerk, would she still be stuck being faithful to him?

I don't really know how to answer for myself, but seeing I'm well on my way to being a crazy cat lady, I'd probably better go with the hag.

You are an author or artist whose work is world-famous. Would you rather be recognized by everyone on the street, or live in relative anonymity?

Anonymity!!!!!!!!!!!!

To avoid capture by invading aliens would you a) jump into a sanitary sewer and close the lid or b) lie exposed in the middle of the street and play dead hoping they weren't initiating a "double tap" or collecting bodies to eat later.
