Currently, I'm morphing into a huge King Crimson fan. At first I only had In the Court of the Crimson King, but then I got two other albums: Red and Larks' Tongues In Aspic. I intend on getting two other albums by them: Discipline (one of the best albums of the 80s) and The Power to Believe (their latest effort).
That makes five albums. Only the Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin will rival them in amount of CDs in my library.

Rob Dougan. I've ordered the album, Furious Angels, and I should be getting my hands on it tomorrow. For those of you who may be idly curious, Rob Dougan is responsible for Clubbed to Death on the Matrix soundtrack, and Furious Angels and Chateau on the Matrix Reloaded soundtrack. I always thought these were composed specially for the films (and Chaeau was) but Mr Dougan actually has an album, available on Amazon for the princely sum of £7.99. I'm excited, I love what I've heard so far.

Fu Manchu. It's straight up stoner rock about fast cars and good times.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
