I always hated working in traffic .. we all had to, especially those who didnt go on to be traffic cops
.. but you go out with a statistical target .. youre not lashed if you dont hit that target which is good. lol 
and the discretion was always yours .. but these days speed cameras .. thats discretion out of the window.

Its shit either way .. but I would never have given anyone a ticket if they came across sensibly .. and it was 4.30am in the morning where the risk for the potential collateral consequences are so much lower.

Sky, Largs is transforming into a housing estate or development...... has been the plan for a while. I don't know where they are up to with that actually.
Yesterday I counted 7 permanent speed cameras on a 75 minute roundtrip. I am back to using the cruise control more often. Even in 60kmh zones!

This impact caused enough damage to the ring finger on my right hand that the tendons and cartilage would never properly heal again. So rather than continue with a finger beyond medical repair, and which polks and points the wrong way, i had the top joint removed.

Now here's a coincidence; playing rugby as a thirteen year old I tackled a lad by grabbing his shirt and pulling him to the ground during the course of which the end bone of my little finger (lhs) snapped like a pencil. It was beastly painful for a month or so (being a boarding school nobody noticed or gave a shit if they did and I never said anything about it) but then sorted itself out. After a month of continual negative coverage, the press media had at last turned to a new subject, the military research laboratory Porton Down's refusal to identify Russia as the source of the nerve agent that poisoned the Skripal's in Salisbury, and instead of staying schtum and letting the foreign secretary (Johnson) stew in his own presumptive remarks on the subject, he interjects with comments on the matter that are so obvious that they need no stating at all. Does he not realize that today, instead of focusing on Johnson's rash gun jumping in his accusations of Russia, the papers will all focus on portraying him as a stooge towing that countries line; has he not learned that most simple of rules, when your rival is screwing things up all on his own - leave him be to continue!
