Good times

Post by Skyweir »

I wasnt sure where to put this .. so tis here now

I just had the best time tonight chatting to my brother. And I enjoyed it so much I thought we should ham ave a record somewhere of good times. Theyre not exclusively with family of course .. we have good times with friends and loved ones .. sometimes with complete strangers.

Share your good times .. what made them good times.

After a hard days work my husband and I have Happy Hour .. where we crack open a nice bottle of wine, beer or spirits and talk about everything .. and we have a little chilliweed ๐Ÿ˜‚ .. and let the day unravel .. watch the night sky and our property melt into darkness.

Do you have a family tradition or practice that youve started ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ That you look forward to ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ Do share ๐Ÿ˜Ž

My daughter has been singing in chorus, choir and acapella groups for many years (10?). But I've seldom heard her sing solo. Here and there at home for a few moments. An occasional soft quick song maybe if she knows I'm not listening. :D
For the past 2 years she' been the leader for her high school acappela group. For her final performance in HS (she's graduating) she finally sang a solo and nailed it.
She says that she told me before hand she was doing it but I must have missed it because it took me by surprise.
She was wonderful.
That was a good time for me.

Music Ed major.
She plays the viola as well.
I was worried she'd be a starving artist but after paying for viola lessons for 10 years I have no worries that she's going to make enough money to live well. 8O
