Callindrill

Post by Haruchai »

I agree Vs!!! I wish we had heard more about Callindrill!! He was one of my favourite Lords, and I felt sad when he lost his trust in himself during the Illeart War. :( But he obviously still had alot of strength.

Hyrim!

All other things being said ... I think that there was a lot of time and detail spent on this son of Hoole. He's a glimpse into the kinds of characters we later get to see more frequently in Mordant's Need, isn't he?

Next to Mhoram, he spends the greatest amount of time as a protagonist. This is why he was drawn more deeply; this is why we like him more. So I'm not surprised that he won.

But I would have voted for Prothall had it been an option ...

I was going to include Osondrea, Tamarantha and Variol, but I decided not to, as that would have made just too many options. 8O Prothal I feel is kind of in the same league in Lord Foul's Bane as Elena is in The Illearth War so I didn't include him.

I loved Prothal's Council, they were all jut soooo cool. They were jut all soi gutsy. The way Prothal went searching for the SoL, knowing it was hopeless, the way Tamarantha and Variol lay down and died for their comrades, the way Osondrea was brave enough to uestion TC, even thouh he was the wjhite gold weilder. So cool. :D

You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.
