Hey all, just got summoned to the watch
It's been 10,000 years and I don't recognize anything, who are these Masters and what is going on.

Start where you are,
use what you have,
do what you can.

Hi!
Quick recap since you were last here:
- the Allies won the War
- the Beatles broke up
- Someone shot JR
- Everyone got the internet
- something called "social media" got popular I hear
- Stephen R Donaldson wrote four more Covenant books
- Then he wrote some other books
- There are only a few moments of civilization left in which to read them

Hi errybody
howwwww goes? You've been thought of in your absence!
I am going to shamelessly promote WatcherChats if you like those (and if it hasn't been promoted to you already) ...they happen on Chatbane and on FaceBane.
We're planning to have one next week.
That is amazing.wf wrote: Hi!

"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor
"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."
-Elisabeth Elliot, Preface, "A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael"
