Just as good as the first! Couldn't be happier!
All lies and jest
Still a man hears what he wants to hear
And disregards the rest

There wasn't a thread for this already? How odd....

Anyway, yes, a very enjoyable movie which was well worth the wait. Before the opening, the lead actors give the audience a personal apology for the sequel taking so long. One the one hand it is a shame that the sequel takes places only a few months after the events of the first movie but the familiarity with the characters makes up for that--we, the audience, wouldn't have any connection to a 25-year-old Violet.

There is one scene with flashing lights which is a little difficult to focus on, but not every movie is perfect.

If you haven't seen it, then go see it.

Loved the film.
Loved the strobe light effect. Didn't give me a headache or seizures but sucks that others may have been affected.
The cgi was enhanced considerably from the first film which was impressive.
Only thing that might clue an audience that considerable time had passed between films is that Craig T. Nelson's voice sounded a bit aged at times.
Would watch it again in a heartbeat.

Definitely. Splashing water looked and behaved as if it were actual natural water.
