Probably a scooter, as riding a Segway in this neighborhood automatically brands you as a dork who has more money than sense. I don't really care if people think I'm a dork, but for better or worse, I definitely have more sense than money.

Remake of your favorite classic movie (new cast), or sequel to your favorite classic movie (original cast)?

Checkers only because I completely suck at chess. (I really wish I was good at it, I feel it's an achilles heel not to be.)

Bike riding, or horseback?

Horseback, because the opportunity is rarer and probably more fun anyway.

Spend a year in a reality TV-type scenario where you're on camera 24/7, or spend a year as a hermit living in a cave with no internet or human contact?

I was hoping someone else would answer this one, since I haven't watched either. I will go with 30 Rock, as I have at least seen a few clips that were amusing. The concept of Modern Family interests me, but I generally avoid the whole family drama genre.

US comedy or UK comedy?

US comedy just because I barely have time to even watch those!

Being appreciated by your boss and given longer lunches and chances to go home early but small merit increases or
good merit increases but a boss that treats you like crud makes you work extra hours and yells at you for that effort.

Iain Banks, though I'd like to read more Greg Bear. I met him a few years ago at an author thing, and he read a bit from his latest book at the time (I don't remember the title) - it sounded interesting, but I wasn't familiar with the universe and characters and whatnot.

House in the country, or condo in a luxury highrise?

I've done house in the country and mowing the lawn really gets old, so (surprise) luxury condo it is. Stag of the dawn isn't getting any younger and I know he'd appreciate it too.

Luxury cruise vacay, or hiking/kayaking type thing?

Luxury cruise vacay .. cos Im too old for the back packing now .. and I like to shower daily .. which isnt a thing in your other option. Unless of course you glamp .. which seems I dunno pointless.

My baby boy works on cruise ships .. or Id go backpacking .. but do I have to carry the kayak .. or will it be at a predetermined location?

Id probably go stir crazy if it were more than a couple of weeks though .. oh but they go places you can get off .. ok .. yes .. you talked me into it. :P

If it was decreed you couldnt eat meat ever again .. would you go vegan or vegetarian? And why? :P

Vegetarian rather than vegan--I just can't completely give up on dairy--especially not on drinking eggnog during holiday season!

Pumpkin spice eggnog or peppermint eggnog?

I love the idea of an open fire - haven't had one since 1996, and that was a wood heater... it is a bit of a pain to keep getting firewood, and keep the place clean, and stop the sparks burning the carpet, and avoid the poisonous spiders that come with the firewood...

Hmmm, I'll go with reverse cycle - it's not necessarily a nicer heat, but it's easy :D

Paper book or Audio book?

Saturday, because I spend most of Sunday dreading Monday. It's not healthy and I'm trying to break the habit, but it's pretty entrenched.

Be able to turn invisible, or be able to read minds?

Oooh fabulous conundrum 🤔🤔🤔🤔

mmm.. there are some pragmatic impractabilities .. if you have the power of invisibility, youd have to be naked, could be cold, not so much of a summer problem, but people could inadvertently scratch, bump into you, bare feet on harsh surfaces etc, what if it rains, does it expose my location, and I couldnt carry anything. Phone etc ...

mmm... I love the thought of invisibility.. but it could be impracticable.

If you could read minds, that could be useful ... but it could also be disappointing and or hurtful lol 😂 and some minds may not be great to read 🤢 .... 🤔🤔🤔

mmm.. on balance .. mind reading

Ok ... what would you rather do speak with a lisp for a day or eat tripe for breakfast, lunch and dinner?

I'll speak with a lisp for a day. After losing half my hearing in a work accident a couple of years back I went through a bit of a learning curve where I got shushed a lot for talking too loudly. Left me with pretty thick skin and a desire to twist one coworker's head off to see if there was a brain in there. (That question remains unanswered. Too much paperwork.)

Work behind the scenes with paperwork and whatnot, or work directly with clients and other humans?

:LOLS:

I can relate with the brain confirmation quest  if only hey? 😉

Well am not a fan of paperwork, though I do like writing .. I choose engaging with humans 🤮

Though Id prefer if they were actual animals and not the animals humans are so often prone to be .. the evolutionary Apple doesnt fall far from the tree, do it? 😉

Ok so if you could choose which country would you prefer to live in ... Sweden where its cold most of the time, they live their pickled fish and have a functioning social democracy ... or Fiji in the tropics where they also eat fish, pickled, not so much .. and have a barely functioning democracy?

I would choose Sweden. "Functioning democracy" clinched it :D
