Heeheehee!
Someone long ago would often say to me - if you try holding back the hands of time they will eventually rip your arms off.
And yet it seems, from the mind of Roger Dean, it is the world that will eventually revolve around time.
Change of wallpaper for the change in season
I use this picture to daydream. On being in one of those
little mushroom houses questioning what makes the rock twist in shape.

I see the bridge representing a string bend - a brief moment in time - the stretch of one note to another.
As the guitar has a bridge this of course isn't pure imagination.

Who is the artist? I feel like I should know.
Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?
What's really sad is I would buy his wall posters as a teenager - many many moons ago - and wish there were some underlying logic within the dreamy worlds.
<sigh> Some things just take a while.
Like Walt Disney, Dean will keep his pallet down to three colours giving the prints an almost trivial and transient quality. Perfect for hiding treasure.

Ah yes, Roger Dean! I too had a few of those on my wall - and the other guy........the one who did the band Yes's stage sets.......no - it's gone.
Talking of Roger Dean, do you remember the picture "Another Time, Another Place"? By coincidence I was thinking of that picture only a couple of days ago - just an odd musing remembrance of times past - and now this pops up.
President of Peace? You fucking idiots!
"I know what America is. America is a thing that you can move very easily. Move it in the right direction. They won't get in the way." (Benjamin Netenyahu 2001.)
....and the glory of the world becomes less than it was....
'Have we not served you well'
'Of course - you know you have.'
'Then let it end.'

Still Roger Dean. He painted many of Yes' album covers and designed their stage sets.
He also designed some communities, but I don't know if they were ever fully developed.
